Bio
Sianna Cherweniuk-Hummel has been an assistant coach with the women's volleyball program since the 2023-2024 season. Prior to coaching with the Kodiaks, Sianna was a head coach with LVC, coaching U18 men's for two seasons, and U16 girls for two seasons. Her U18 men's teams had top 10 finishes in Alberta at provincials both seasons. She also coached Sr. and Jr. boys volleyball at Immanuel Christian High School in 2021 and 2022. In 2018 Sianna coached for ACE Volleyball in Calgary, running their summer beach volleyball program. 
 
Sianna is a trained Advanced Development Coach (Level 2) for indoor and beach volleyball, and is working on her Performance Coach (Level 3) certification. 
 
She played volleyball for Medicine Hat College in 2014-2015, Barton County College in 2015-2016 and three seasons with Lethbridge College from 2016-2019 - playing primarily rightside, and a secondary position of middle blocker. Sianna holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Lethbridge, two graduate certificates from University of Lethbridge (Clinical Addiction, & Couples and Family Counselling), and has a Master of Education in Educational Psychology from Mizzou. Sianna brings her knowledge of counselling and psychology into her coaching approach.
