The athletic therapists with Rebound Health Centre keep our Kodiaks ready to perform at their best all season long.
Rebound Health Centre is Southern Alberta’s premier multi-disciplinary centre for all sports-related issues and general sprains/strains. With an office located within the Lethbridge College Fitness Centre, our Kodiaks student athletes have terrific access to Rebound's premiere athletic therapy services, helping keep them at peak performance level throughout the season.
We are excited to introduce Curtis as our head Athletic Therapist for the 2017-18 season.
Curtis Arsenault graduated from Acadia University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. For the last two years of his Bachelor’s degree, Curtis worked as a student trainer with the Axemen Men’s Hockey team in the Atlantic University Sport league. He was inspired by the experience and by his mentors within the program and decided to become an Athletic Therapist. He then completed the Advanced Athletic Therapy Certificate program at Mount Royal University in June 2015.
While completing his certificate program, Curtis was able to work with the Calgary Royals Midget AAA hockey team. He was also involved in the clinic at Calgary Centre for Health and WinSport Medical Centre working with the Canadian Alpine Ski team and NHL athletes.
Curtis is currently also the assistant Athletic Therapist with the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, primarily working with the Pronghorns men's hockey program. He is planning on pursuing his manual therapy skills, as well as different stretching techniques. Curtis has a passion for sports and health in general. During his time off, you can find him in the gym or outdoors being adventurous.
