Bio

Jamie Brown is entering her first season as an assistant coach with the Kodiaks women's volleyball program. Prior to joining the Kodiaks coaching staff, Jamie was the head coach for Zone 1 at the 2024 Alberta Winter Games, leading her team to a gold medal finish. She also coached the U16 girls team with Panthers Volleyball Club during the 2024 club season.

Jamie is a trained Development Coach (Level 1) through the NCCP, and is committed to supporting athlete growth through a technical, competitive, and athlete-centered approach.

Jamie brings a strong playing background to her coaching, having competed professionally in Sweden with Engelholms Volleybollsolskap during the 2024–2025 season. Prior to that, she played five seasons with the Lethbridge College Kodiaks (2017–2023), as an outside hitter. During her time with the Kodiaks, she was a two-time ACAC All-Conference selection, named the 2023 ACAC South Player of the Year, earned CCAA All-Canadian honours, and was recognized as the 2023 Senior Athlete of the Year by the Lethbridge Sport Council.

Originally from Fort Macleod, AB, Jamie is a proud Kodiaks alumna and is excited to give back to the program and community that shaped her as both an athlete and individual.
