Cross-country team named Canadian Brewhouse Kodiaks student-athletes of the week

The Lethbridge Kodiaks cross-country teams delivered standout performances at the 2025 ACAC Championships in Grande Prairie, earning berths to the CCAA Nationals in Prince Edward Island on Nov. 7–8.
The men’s team claimed silver, led by veteran runners Ethan Grasmeyer (third year, Conservation Enforcement – Bachelor of Applied Science, Smithers, B.C.) and Conner Van Den Hoek (third year, Business Administration – Management, Fort Macleod), who placed fourth and sixth overall with times of 27:30 and 27:32 respectively.
The women’s team captured bronze, paced by Katrina Michel (third year, Bachelor of Nursing, Okotoks) finishing 12th in 25:41 and Kate Block (third year, Business Administration – Management, Waldheim, Sask.) placing 14th in 26:06.
Both teams showed grit and consistency on a challenging course, earning their spots among Canada’s best at nationals.
