Jankowiak and Grasmeyer Canadian Brewhouse Kodiaks student-athletes of the week

Khloe Jankowiak (third year, Business Administration – Accounting, Lethbridge) played a key role for the Kodiaks women’s soccer team this past weekend. In the opening game against Olds College, Jankowiak made her mark on the scoresheet twice, scoring one goal and assisting another. The following day against Red Deer Polytechnic, she netted the lone goal for the Kodiaks, converting a penalty kick to level the game early in the first half. She dominated the midfield and logged 90 minutes in both games. After a strong opening weekend, Jankowiak now leads her team in points and is currently part of a six-way tie for the fourth-most points in the league.

Ethan Grasmeyer (third year, Conservation Enforcement – Bachelor of Applied Science, Smithers, B.C.) led the way for the Kodiaks men’s cross-country team, helping them secure a second-place overall finish this past weekend. Grasmeyer delivered an outstanding performance in the eight-kilometre race, crossing the finish line in 29:43 to earn an impressive second-place individual finish. His result was a major factor in the team's strong showing and sets a promising tone for the season ahead.
