Kodiaks to join CCAA gaming challenge
With live athletic competition on pause, the Kodiaks are excited to enter the inaugural Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Gaming Challenge.

With live athletic competition on pause, the Kodiaks are excited to enter the inaugural Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Gaming Challenge.
The challenge will see representatives from at least 14 schools across Canada compete for a national championship in FIFA20.
The Kodiaks will host a pair of institutional tournaments – one for XBOX and another for PS4 – to determine the Lethbridge College champions that will represent the Kodiaks at the CCAA Gaming Challenge.
The deadline to register for the Kodiaks tournaments is Oct. 14, with the competition being held from mid-October to mid-November.
Tournament and Registration Details
• Eligibility: All Lethbridge College students enrolled in full time classes in the Fall 2020 semester are eligible to enter
• Registration cost: $10
• Deadline to register: Oct. 14
• Gamers can choose between participating in the PS4 or XBOX tournament
• Gamers must have a Discord account (sign up for free here) to coordinate matches with opponents
The winner of each Lethbridge College tournament will advance to represent the Kodiaks at the CCAA national gaming challenge tournament.
A custom Jostens ring will be awarded to the ultimate winner of the CCAA national contest. The champions of each institutional tournament will also receive special prizing.
