Bio
Brooke Heggie is in her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Kodiaks men’s basketball program. During her time with the team, she has supported player development and helped contribute to the continued growth of the program.
Originally from Raymond, Alberta, Heggie graduated from Raymond High School before beginning her post-secondary basketball career with the Lethbridge College Kodiaks. She competed with the Kodiaks for three seasons (2012–13, 2017–2019) before continuing her career with the Olds College Broncos, where she played from 2019–2022, with an additional year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 season.
Throughout her collegiate career, Heggie excelled both on the court and in the classroom. She was named a National Scholar all five years of her collegiate career and was twice recognized as the Broncos Female Impact Athlete of the Year.
Off the court, Heggie completed a Sport Management diploma at Olds College and will graduate with her Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary in April. Her experience as a student-athlete and her passion for mentorship make her a valued member of the Kodiaks coaching staff.
