Jackson and Bouchard named Mucho Burrito AOTW

Oct.1, 2019 - The fast start to the season has continued for both Kodiaks men's and women's cross country teams. Both teams earned high national ranking spots following strong performances at the ACAC Grand Prix #4 event in Calgary last weekend, which included a first place performance for the Kodiaks women and second place finish for the men.

Connor Jackson and Rosie Bouchard both had strong podium finishes and have earned themselves this week's Mucho Burrito Athlete of the Week honours!

Congrats Connor and Rosie! Each student athlete will receive a gift certificate to Mucho Burrito - Lethbridge.

Connor Jackson - MXC

Connor (second year, Business Administration, Surrey, B.C.) placed on the podium for the first time this season last weekend, as he finished in second place at the ACAC Grand Prix #4 event in Calgary.

He has emerged as a leader on a team that is now ranked fifth in the country, constantly improving with every race.

Rosie Bouchard - WXC

Rosie (first year, Renewable Resource Management, Okotoks) made a memorable Kodiaks debut last weekend at the ACAC Grand Prix #4 in Calgary.
