Kodiaks newcomer Timothy Kimaiyo continued his impressive rookie campaign, placing eighth with am 8 km time of 29:22, while Connor Jackson's 30:04 time placed him 11th. Kevin Kipchumba and Tanner Rent finished 26th and 29th, coming in with times of 33:09 and 34:07 respectively.

Up next

The team will take a weekend off before preparing to run at the ACAC Championships at Lakeland on Oct. 27. With Robdrup close to returning to action, the Kodiaks men's team will hope to push for a top three finish at the race, which will give them a berth at CCAA Nationals in Toronto from Nov. 9-10. Meanwhile, the women will look to fend off Red Deer and grab an ACAC title in what will be head coach Bertil Johansson's last ACAC competition.
