March 28, 2019 – Fresh off a return to the ACAC postseason, the Lethbridge College Kodiaks women’s basketball team is getting busy adding talent to next season’s roster.
Head coach Deanna Dotts recently announced that Lethbridge native Abbie Hall has signed a letter of intent to play for the Kodiaks next season.
Hall will join the Kodiaks this fall after finishing her high school career with LCI.
For Dotts, the signing of Hall means adding another hard working forward to her lineup. The third-year head coach is especially excited to see her new recruit bring the strong leadership skills that she displayed throughout her high school career.
“Abbie is a hard worker and a student of the game,” said Dotts. “She understands the intricacies of the game that allow her to succeed. She is also a natural leader and a great teammate. We are looking forward to having her help increase our level of intensity in practice as well as on the court.”
When asked about joining the Kodiaks, Hall says she is excited for the chance to continue to play the game she loves at a high level.
“I'm excited to play because I love basketball and I know I'm going into a program with great players and coaches,” said Hall.
The Kodiaks are coming off a bounce-back season that saw them finish in third place in the ACAC south division, qualifying them for the postseason.
Dotts and her squad will kick off training camp next September.
